Clearfield EMS Inc.

STATION VISITS: Programs are tailored to the group’s age and size that will be visiting us. Our guests are given a tour of the station, an overview of the Emergency Medical Services System, tours and demonstrations of the ambulances, and demonstrations of the Life Saving equipment carried on all of the Clearfield EMS ambulances.

SITE VISITS: Clearfield EMS Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics will come to your organization to give an overview of the Emergency Medical Services System, tours and demonstrations of the ambulance, and demonstrations of the Life Saving equipment carried on all of the Clearfield EMS ambulances.

FATAL VISION: (45 minute program)- The Fatal Vision program gives participants a new look at the effects of drinking and driving. The program starts with a 10– minute power point presentation followed by a demonstrations of impairment using the Fatal Vision Goggles. Volunteers from the audience try to complete simple tasks while wearing the Fatal Vision goggles. This program is like no other drinking and driving program available and is a must see.

SEAT BELTS and AIR BAGS: Participants of this program will be given information on proper seat belt usage and air bag safety. This program looks at the reasons why seat belts and air bags work when used properly. Have all of the myths you’ve heard about seat belts and air bags laid to rest.

CAR SEATS: This informative program looks at the importance of child passenger safety and the correct use of car seats. Participants will be given information on why car seats help to prevent serious injuries in children.

CPR: American Heart Association Cardio– pulmonary Resuscitation classes are available to groups in the public. Learn this basic life saving procedure that is a must for everyone, everywhere. There is a minimal fee for the books and class registration through the American Heart Association.
